INFORMATION NOTICE ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

This Information Notice has been prepared by Tripstyle Turizm Rehberlik Bilişim Ticaret Ltd. Şti. (hereinafter referred to as “Tripstyle Turizm”) within the scope of Article 10 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures to be Followed in Fulfillment of the Obligation to Inform.

According to the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, any information that identifies or makes an individual identifiable is considered personal data. Within the scope of this Law, Tripstyle Turizm is the “data controller” and this Information Notice explains which of your personal data are processed for which purposes, with whom they are shared, how your data is collected, and the legal grounds for such processing.

Tripstyle Turizm processes the following personal data shared by the User: identity information (name and surname), contact details (mobile phone and e-mail), user photo (profile photo), location information, credit card/bank card/virtual card details, order information, payment methods and details, username and password, IP address, device information (brand, model, technical specifications, and operating system), user comments and ratings… for the following purposes:

1. To create a personalized membership registration on the Tripspeaker application, to enable the sale of content, to collect the sales fee, to allow login to the Tripspeaker user account, to ensure transaction security, to provide post-sale technical support services, to issue invoices on behalf of the User, to send commercial electronic messages under Article 5 of the Electronic Communications Law No. 5809, to fulfill legal obligations, to improve and develop services… limited to these purposes,

2. Your processed personal data may be shared, in line with the purposes, with Tripspeaker’s partners and solution partners, Guides, other Users, İyzi Payment and Electronic Money Services Inc. for payment processing, authorized public institutions and organizations such as tax offices in order to fulfill legal obligations, judicial authorities, financial advisors and law firms we work with for contract, audit, and accounting purposes, independent audit firms…

These personal data are processed based on the legal grounds stipulated in Article 5 of the KVKK: “your explicit consent, clear stipulation in laws, being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, necessity for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, necessity for the fulfillment of our legal obligations, and necessity for our Company’s legitimate interests provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.”

Your personal data are obtained through electronic forms filled in via our website or Tripspeaker application during the establishment or performance of the contract, the information you enter into the system during payment transactions, and through e-mail, phone, live support line, and WhatsApp support line channels, and are processed electronically in our Company’s database.

Tripspeaker may record sensitive payment data such as credit card/bank card/virtual card details only if the User explicitly consents, for the purpose of facilitating future purchases. If the User does not give such consent, credit card/bank card/virtual card information will not be stored in one-time purchase transactions.

Among your personal data, username, profile photo, ratings, and user comments are shared with other Users and Guides who use Tripspeaker.

Tripstyle Turizm takes appropriate security measures depending on the type and sensitivity of the stored data. However, as with all systems connected to the internet, there is always a risk of unauthorized access. Therefore, it is important that you protect your password and contact Tripstyle Turizm via …… e-mail address in any situation where you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law No. 6698, you have the right to:
a) Learn whether your personal data are being processed,
b) Request information if your personal data have been processed,
c) Learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
ç) Know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred, whether domestically or abroad,
d) Request the correction of personal data if they are incomplete or incorrectly processed,
e) Request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7,
f) Request that the transactions carried out pursuant to subparagraphs (d) and (e) be notified to third parties to whom personal data have been transferred,
g) Object to a result against yourself arising from the analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems,
ğ) Demand compensation in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data.
